[Welcome back. I'm going to try situps and pushups and blogging every day. The first two will get me in shape for the MR340, and the third, for life.]
Gyres are my constant mode, circling close and banking swiftly to stay in the rising air. I hope to catch the current as a participant, floating without effort to a higher plane. I'm terrified, though, that I'm losing altitude, so I check the ground on each mental beat, ticking like a metronome between flight and floor.

The MR340 sounds AWESOME. Myself, I'm doing a Couch-to-5K program and looking into how much it costs for a pool membership at the pool that's like, ten minutes from my apartment. I've just finished my first week of workouts, though I think I will repeat one of them on Friday. It's the first time I've done for not a grade and I'm impressed with the me-sticking-to-it so far.
ReplyDeletePlease keep us updated about the MR340, though. Are you a canoer or a kayaker? I've always wanted to learn the kayak.
I should probably try to blog more too. :)
I canoe. I'll be going with Russell. We chose "Riparian Scallywags" as our team name, but who knows? Maybe we won't actually plunder any lucre.
ReplyDeleteRIVER PIRATES.
ReplyDeleteYes!
You might not plunder lucre but it sounds amazing!
