I'm finding I like music that feels like summer with the windows down, driving not because anybody knows where to go but just to be driving, and the car is full of people I have accidentally come to love, and the sun is going down, and I'm aching to make it stay, and, of course, acting like it will.

  1. I like that description. And if the song here is an example of it, then, yes, I think I like that music too. That middle place between true folk music and soft rock, with intriguing and/or complex lyrics...

  2. I usually don't find this feeling in half folk or soft rock, actually. Up and Up by Coldplay, I guess, might be "soft rock," but I suppose I don't know what soft rock is. Miracle by Caravan Palace is another.
