11.2

I suppose I am one of the worst writers ever.

I open my eyes and try to peer through murk. It's like my corneas are terribly scratched and now I can't see anything. Worse, even having my eyes open stings like bees are trying to migrate to iris-ville but failed vocab in bee-grade school.

Chlorine in pools: fact or horror? Both.

  1. You know, I think writing/creativity may be one of those relative things--like pain or sorrow or happiness.

  2. Response to your first sentence: NOPE. Hasn't the Writing Center taught you anything?

Anyway. . . . you nailed the chlorine in pools thing.

But then, I suppose one person's "amazing" is another person's "ho-hum."

  3. Sorry, worst writer because I said I will post once a day and I have posted less than 1/3 of the time.

  4. Well, that was mostly a writing-class requirement. Now, you are free to write as you are moved, or unmoved, or want to talk about something other than moving.

Your distress at not writing more often "is wearing me out."

  5. Oh well. I've forgotten to care today. Haha.

So do I not have to write once a day? I don't think I've lost that requirement.

  6. Chlorine is the worst. Give me a lake any day.

BTW, if you think you're not doing so well at posting look at my creative writing blog. If I get in a couple posts a month I think I'm doing pretty good...

  7. I think keeping the once a day requirement for yourself is a good thing. Would you be as motivated to write if you didn't "have to?"

  8. Yes and no. If you beat yourself up about the fact that you do not manage a daily post that you have arbitrarily set up for yourself, is it really doing you good?
