"I've got this, okay? I'm just stressed."
"You wanna talk about it?"
"No, I'm fine. I just need more sleep."
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm just stressed. I've got a lot on my plate."
"And is there anything I can do?"
"No, not really."
"But if there is, you'll tell me, right?"
"Of course."
"I really care about you, you know that, right?"
Why is he so clingy?
I've noticed that in your writing, the guy is always the clingy one . . .
ReplyDelete@Brooke: Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteGuys want to help.
Yeah, lately anyway the guys have definitely been the clingy one. I'm trying to process some stuff.
ReplyDeleteAnd why is she so stand-offish? There's no right answer here.
I'm sorry. >_<
ReplyDeleteI think she might be stand-offish because she doesn't know how to share her burdens. Like the reason why I refuse to ask any of my friends help me fix my car. I don't mean to be . . . difficult, but he just sees me refusing to accept the help he wants to give for no reason at all, and it's frustrating. I'm trying not to be a burden, because I feel like all I ever do is ask for help, and I don't want to be the needy/clingy one.
I should stop now. That probably didn't help at all, but . . .
I'm sorry.
I've heard something that has really affected how much help I accept.
ReplyDeleteWhen you refuse someone else's good will, you ELIMINATE their ability to be a christianlovinggoodperson. If you will not accept charity, you are blocking the other person's ability to be charitable. You are hindering someone from being like christ.
Super humbling to realize that because you refuse someone's chips, you're blocking their christ-ness.
I'm glad I looked at this again. I missed your comment somehow. Which is funny because I am obsessive.
